Take advantage of ERMU's heat pump rebates for on-the-spot savings and year-round comfort. Consider the sustainability of a heat pump when upgrading your home's heating and cooling system and experience reduced energy usage with increased savings.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A REBATE
- Complete and sign the Heat Pumps Rebate Application.
- Include a copy of the original itemized sales receipt and/or invoice for each product.
- Include a copy of the AHRI Certificate of Product Ratings. This document can be provided by your contractor.
- Submit the completed and signed rebate application and a copy of the required documents listed above to ERMU in person, by mail, email customerservice@ermumn.com, or online using the fields below.
Valid for customers of Elk River Municipal Utilities only. Rebates come in the form of a bill credit.
QUALIFYING HEAT PUMP PRODUCTS
Electric customers can receive up to a $75 rebate for an air source heat pump tune up by an HVAC professional. Must provide professional contractor invoice showing tune up activity performed.
ERMU offers a $400 rebate for ENERGY STAR® certified central and ductless heat pumps. Units must be 15.2 SEER2 and 7.8 HSPF2 or higher.
ERMU offers a $1,000 rebate per ENERGY STAR® certified cold climate heat pump. Must meet Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnership (NEEP) efficiency specifications for cold climate models and minimum 15.2 SEER2, 8.1 HSPF2, & COP >=1.75 at 5°F.
ERMU offers a $600/ton rebate for ENERGY STAR® certified ground source heat pumps.
ERMU offers rebates for ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump water heaters. Must have a UEF of 2 or higher.
- $400/unit rebate 50-79 gallon
- $450/unit rebate < 80 gallon
