Save Money Two Ways
ERMU makes it easier to save energy and money on ENERGY STAR®-certified and WaterSense-labeled products with appliance and home efficiency rebates. When you purchase rebate-qualifying products, you'll conserve natural resources by using less energy and water. This not only helps to reduce long-term utility rates but also controls energy costs.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A REBATE
- Complete and sign the Appliance and Home Efficiency Rebate Application.
- Include a copy of the original itemized sales receipt and/or invoice for each product.
- Include a copy of the energy guide label containing ENERGY STAR® symbol or denotation if applicable.
- Submit the completed and signed rebate application and a copy of the required documents listed above to ERMU in person, by mail, email customerservice@ermumn.com, or online using the fields below.
Valid for customers of Elk River Municipal Utilities only. Rebates come in the form of a bill credit.
QUALIFYING APPLIANCES AND PRODUCTS
ERMU offers a rebate of $40 per ENERGY STAR® certified clothes dryer.
ERMU offers a rebate of $40 per ENERGY STAR® certified
clothes washer.
ERMU offers a rebate of $30 per ENERGY STAR® certified AND UEF greater than 2 dehumidifier.
ERMU offers a rebate of $40 per ENERGY STAR® certified
dishwasher.
ERMU offers a $100 rebate for ENERGY STAR® refrigerators and freezers when buying new and recycling an old unit in working order. Units that have been sold or donated do not qualify; you must provide a receipt with proof of recycling.
ERMU offers a $35 rebate for ENERGY STAR® refrigerators and freezers when buying new only and not recycling an old unit.
ERMU offers a rebate of $35 per ENERGY STAR® certified air purifier.
ERMU offers a rebate of $10 per ENERGY STAR® certified ceiling fan.
ERMU offers a rebate of $20 per ENERGY STAR® certified ceiling fan with integral LED light.
ERMU offers a rebate of $20 per Tier II power strip.
ERMU offers a rebate of $200 for variable speed pool pumps with E.F. < 3.8.
ERMU offers a rebate of $25 for a WaterSense labeled toilet with a rating of 1.28 gallons or fewer per flush.
ERMU offers a rebate for WaterSense labeled smart irrigation controllers and installation up to 50% of the device and installation costs not to exceed $250. Must be linked to local weather via internet, weather station, or an ET water server.
