MMPA Brings Wind Turbine to Elk River
ERMU’s power supplier, Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (MMPA) has provided the community with a wind turbine, which was sited at the Youth Athletic Complex in Elk River.
MMPA’s Hometown WindPower program gives member communities the chance to become a part of the solution to the state’s renewable energy needs. The program locates power generation within the community where the electricity is used and reflects MMPA’s commitment to sustainable energy.
