Temporary Apprentice Lineworker
Elk River Municipal Utilities is accepting applications for a temporary (1000 hour) Apprentice Lineworker. This position assists in constructing, operating and maintaining underground and overhead electrical distribution systems. This person will also provide general support for other departments and assist with general duties. The wage for this position is $30.67 per hour. The estimated assignment length for this position is June 2024 – November 2024. The regular schedule will be Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Temporary Apprentice Lineworker Employment Application
Seasonal Water Utility Worker
Elk River Municipal Utilities is accepting applications for a full time, Seasonal Water Utility Worker. This position will assist the Water Department in a variety of duties including hydrant, well, and grounds maintenance during the months of May - August. This position may also provide general support for other departments and assist with general duties.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be age 18 or older, possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, and have one (1) year of general maintenance experience. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of general maintenance experience, the ability to operate construction type equipment efficiently and safely, and applicable municipal water treatment and distribution system experience.
The starting pay range for this position is $19.59 - $23.78
