Elk River Municipal Utilities (ERMU) is proud to offer up to two $1,000 post-secondary education scholarships to students that plan to further their education with a career in the following areas:

• Water (Examples: Utility Worker, Operator, Engineer)
• Electric (Examples: Lineworker, Technician, Bore Rig Operator, Engineer)
• GIS Mapping
• IT Security
• Conservation-related field

Students interested in applying must be high school seniors that live or attend school in the ERMU service territory.

Students can apply in one of two ways:

The deadline to apply is March 12, 2026.
