ERMU Again Named Smart Energy Provider
ERMU is one of seventy public power utilities nationwide who earned the Smart Energy Provider (SEP) designation in 2021 from the American Public Power Association (APPA). Utilities receiving the designation have demonstrated commitment to and proficiency in smart energy, energy efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience initiatives that support a goal to provide low-cost, quality, safe, and reliable electric service.
The Smart Energy Provider designations, which last for two years, were presented on October 26 during APPA’s Customer Connections Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is the second time ERMU has received the SEP designation.
